Green Building Home
Energy saving and environmental sustainability, with the related benefits, are at the heart of the green building concept. To achieve this goal, plant facilities must use renewable energy, exactly as foreseen by the ECA Technology System project.
For homes targeting class A+ energy efficiency, a heating system has been designed with 1 Acquainverter compact WM20 three-way heat pump and 2 COH6514HE10 outdoor units interfaced with a 300-litre domestic hot water tank. A WACN200 thermal flywheel is installed in the plant.
Smartly integrated, the Acquainverter in-house unit is equipped with a remote control interface to make system management simple, functional and intuitive.
In terms of energy efficiency, the installed photovoltaic system has a total power of 4.68 kWp and is composed of 18 ECA245W-60 photovoltaic modules and 1 Fronius Primo 6.0-1 inverter.
Finally, the heating and cooling system has been designed to incorporate a model HFR45/V heat recovery unit. The latter enables retention of the heat and thermal energy contained in the vented air, transferring the same to the new incoming air and thus reducing energy consumption for heating in winter and air conditioning/cooling in summer.
